How Demon Wedges work

In game, Demon Wedges may also appear under the technical name MOD in some data. This page explains the key fields used across the site: level, affinity, tolerance, dynamic effects and asset mapping.

Read a sheet in 3 cues

1) Main icon

Lets you identify the Demon Wedge in the grid.

2) Affinity / polarity

The symbol next to the name shows the Demon Wedge affinity type.

3) Active level

The detail slider changes the dynamic values #1, #2, #3.

1) Structure of a Demon Wedge

  • Every Demon Wedge has a name, a description, a rarity, an affinity and a max level.
  • The name shown in game is Demon Wedge. MOD remains mostly a technical term used in some internal data.
  • Texts (name, description, passive effects) change with the selected language.
  • The site exposes this info as JSON so you can filter, compare languages and open details.

Affinities, polarities and compatibilities

The detail sheet combines several visual cues: polarity symbol, elemental affinity and compatibility tags for the character/weapon type.

2) Levels and dynamic values

The values #1, #2, etc. change with the Demon Wedge level. The slider on the detail page applies those values from the growth table and shows the effect at the chosen level.

Default level = 0 (piece not upgraded)
Max level = MaxLevel

3) Tolerance / cost

The displayed tolerance scales with level. The formula exposed in the data is:

tolerance(level) = Cost + level * CostChange

The site pre-computes per-level values and stores them in tolerance.valuesByLevel.

4) Multi-language

On the grid: you can show several languages at once to compare names. On the detail: a single language can be picked and shared through the URL.

The languages currently available depend on the dataset loaded for the category.

5) What the site displays

  • General Demon Wedge info (name, rarity, function, description)
  • Per-level progression via the slider
  • Affinity + matching icon
  • Multilingual names for quick comparison
  • Search, filters, favourites and pagination for navigation
