Tracks and the Track-Shift Module
Every slot carries a track. Applying a Track-Shift Module aligns that track with the polarity of the piece sitting there, and halves its tolerance cost.
Reading a slot badge
- The number: the slot's tolerance cost.
- The glyph: the current track — flame 1, crescent 2, diamond 3, circle 4.
- The crown: a module is applied to this slot.
- A green badge means a reduced cost, so an aligned track. White means full price.
A track that is set always equals the polarity of its piece. A misalignment is never a tactical choice: it takes the cost from half to one and a half times.
Aligned track: cost ÷ 2. Misaligned track: cost × 1.5. No module: full cost.
