The Calamity Furnace

The Furnace is a global level shared by every Calamity Weapon you own. It rises by completing Furnace level tasks, not by playing one particular weapon.

Its level sets the smelting level cap for all your Calamity Weapons. In other words: hoarding materials achieves nothing until the Furnace reaches the tier you want — and once it does, it opens that tier for every weapon at once. The tasks that raise it are taken from Luno the blacksmith, at the Sanctuary.

Worth knowing: once a smelting level is unlocked, the first Potential you pick at that level costs no materials. The second one does.
